Bank Teller

About the role

TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 Financial Institution located at 7255 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406 (North Rivers Shopping Center). This is a full‑time, onsite contract position. Application anticipated to close Oct 15, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide members and prospective members with the full range of products and services, including depository accounts (checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts), lending products, and credit/debit cards.
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans.
• Assist members with submitting consumer, mortgage, equity loan, overdraft protection, and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell products and increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of cash handling experience in in‑person customer service, retail, or banking.
• Bank Teller experience preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma required.

Skills

• Effective communication in person, over the phone, and via email.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Must be available Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am‑2:30 pm; expected to work 2‑3 Saturdays per month based on business need.
