About the role

TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 Financial Institution located in Shelby Township, MI 48315.

Responsibilities

• Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services including depository accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
• Absorb and assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection, and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-3 years of banking experience, retail, customer service.
• Cash Handling: Required.
• Communication: Effective in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Schedule

Full-time/40 hours per week. Must be available between Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am - 2:30pm. Could be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.42 - $21.42/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
