Bank Teller
About the role
TEKsystems is currently searching for career-driven candidates interested in a Bank Teller opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Henderson, NV 89014 area!
Responsibilities
- Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
- Aid members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
- Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
- Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
- Identify opportunities to cross sell products and increase product penetration
- Perform platform banking functions
- Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services
- May assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing and balancing procedures
- May serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1-3 years of banking experience, retail, cash handling, customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred but not required
Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer literacy, and proficiency with point-of-sale systems.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service orientation
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services
- Ability to handle cash and negotiable instruments

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $21.82/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm, Saturday: 8:30am-2:30pm
