About the role
GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for locations in Portland, Happy Valley, and Tigard, Oregon. The position offers competitive hourly wages of $23 per hour with DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
- Accomplish and pass an extensive screening process
- Show strong report writing skills
- Show sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
- Show strong proficiency with technology
- If applicable, have a state license
Qualifications
- Have Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience (preferred)

Schedule
Full-time, Monday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 30.5 hours per week.
Pay
$23 per hour, with DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
