Bank Sales Support Specialist (Commercial Loan Processor)

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Sales Support Specialist (Business/Commercial Lending Assistant) to join our team in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego. This in-branch role partners with Commercial and Business Banking groups to support sales, servicing, and management of clients and loan portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing sales support to Lenders, including identifying cross-sell opportunities, coordinating presentation materials, setting up sales calls, maintaining prospect lists, and making joint calls.
• Originate, process, and ensure accuracy of loan documentation for closings, including entering financial information into the loan system and verifying all necessary documentation is included.
• Resolve documentation exception issues, maintain service levels, update financial statements, and prepare files for portfolio reviews.
• Run reports to track maturing lines/loans and service levels.
• Communicate, report, and follow up on portfolio past dues to ensure they remain current while maintaining customer contact.
• Coordinate opening of deposit and other banking services with branch partners.
• Handle customer requests for information and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales, customer service, operations, or commercial lending.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial loan documentation or commercial lending support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other office support systems.
  • Experience in paralegal support.
  • Prior work experience in a business, commercial, or corporate banking environment.

Pay

The base pay for this position is generally between $26.11 to $40.00 per hour. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
