Bank Sales and Service Representative (Teller)

About the Role

A Sales and Service Representative processes transactions and customer service requests in the branch, educates customers on bank capabilities, and supports sales efforts by identifying and referring opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaborative partnerships to deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues.
• Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
• Listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs; take prompt action to address them.
• Proactively optimize performance by seeking coaching, supporting bank initiatives, and leveraging tools.
• Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of interactions and transactions.
• Complete required training by established deadlines.
• Perform general office management duties to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure transaction accuracy and operational efficiency for deposit-related roles, contributing to both individual and team performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of customer service experience.

Preferred: Sales experience, financial literacy, and knowledge of retail banking products and services.
