About the role
We seek to recruit Registered Nurses to join our bank nursing teams in our hospitals and community in Lewis and Harris. These bank posts offer successful candidates the opportunity for continuing professional development in diverse and varied settings in both community and hospital environments. The ability to work independently is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Provision of professional nursing care to meet the individual needs of the patient population and be accountable for the delivery of such care.
- Assessment of care needs, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care.
- Facilitation and support of staff development in hospital and community areas.
Requirements
- Must be NMC registered (General Nursing or Mental Health).
- Experience of nursing patients in an acute and/or community environment is essential.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development is essential.
- Successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
Pay
Band 5 - £34,544 - £43,039 pro rata plus £1,461 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata.
Schedule
Bank (as required) hours.
