Band Saw Operator - 1st Shift

Job Requirements

• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
• Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
• Inspect machinery to ensure that it is in working order, making adjustments/replacements as necessary.
• Perform preventive maintenance as specified.
• Position parts on saw bed, offloads and stacks material in accordance with established procedures.
• Inspect forged parts visually and by touch for excessive metal.
• Maintain accurate part and/or work piece counts.
• Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific travelers.

Skill Requirements

• Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
• English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
• Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.

Pay

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
