Band & Orchestra Operations Specialist
Job Requirements
Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and musical instruments, is seeking to hire Band and Orchestra Operations Specialists to add to their growing Band and Orchestra team.
Responsibilities
- Move inventory according to proper inventory control procedures
- Fulfill rental instrument contracts including navigating the rental software, cleaning instruments and instrument cases, adding accessories to instrument cases, packing and shipping rental instruments, and receiving and processing rental returns
- Supply work to inspection and repair teams in an organized and efficient manner
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment a plus
- Experience playing at least one wind or orchestral string instrument
- Able to work safely in a warehouse environment and use non-powered equipment including pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks
- Able to lift, push, and pull instrument cases and boxes up to 75 pounds
- Able to work while sitting or standing for long periods of time
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining patience and a positive attitude
- Adept at multi-tasking and time management
