Baltimore Hilton Garden Inn - Bartender - Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Efficiently maintain bar supplies, including preparation of daily requisition as necessary.
• Be completely familiar with all types of liquor, drink recipes, prices, proper glassware, and garnishes.
• Know drink recipes, prices, and types of beverages available.
• Follow accurate cash handling procedures, including proper discounting, MICROS system (or registers), bank procedures, and tip policies.
• Accurately charge guests for drinks and handle all monetary intake.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests to maintain positive guest relations.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction in every interaction.
• Complete formal training regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter.
