Bakery Supervisor

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, joy is the job! Our team members sweeten up the place, setting the mood and making a stop in the bakery an event worth posting about. You’ll get to play party planner by helping guests order the right cake for their celebrations and making sure their orders go off without a hitch. You’ll make everyone feel welcomed, and you’ll create an environment of generosity, happiness, and joy in your community. We close early so you can enjoy your evenings. Cake discounts are available.

Position Summaries

• Joy Creator: The face of the business, providing exceptional guest service and creating genuine connections with the community.
• Crafter: Responsible for decorating cakes and packaging orders aligned with required brand standards.
• Froster: Makes frosting, frosts products, and ensures daily production demands are met.
• Team Supervisor: Trustworthy individual who carries a key to the business, assists in opening/closing duties, and ensures standards are met in absence of the Bakery Manager.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in Joy Creator, Crafting, and Frosting departments.
• Upon completion of training, rotate through departments as needed, scheduling to strengths to best support the bakery.
• Assist with offsite events in addition to regular in-bakery shifts.
• Work throughout the holiday season including the weeks leading up to major holidays such as Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Requirements

• At least one day of weekend availability required.
• Flexibility to work around school schedules.
• Willingness to work throughout the holiday season.

Schedule

• Morning shift: 9:00 am – 3:15 pm
• Afternoon shift: 3:00 pm – 8:30 pm
• Sunday shift: 10:30 am – 4:30 pm
• Flexible scheduling around school schedules

Work Location and Timeline

This location is projected to open at the end of July/beginning of August. Anticipated opening is between July 20th and August 1st. Flexibility is asked of hired team members around onboarding and training dates due to potential construction impacts.
