Drive sales in your Bakery department and supervise a team of hourly associates to deliver high-quality products to members at competitive prices. Model expertise in bakery operations, collaborate with other team leaders, and ensure the club meets member expectations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Bakery team to execute the business plan, communicate department goals, and advocate for members, associates, and the company.
- Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the entire club meets member expectations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of bakery operations, product specifications, and seasonality, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards for quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Train team members on new products, recipes, and production specifications, equipping them with the tools needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Use handheld technology to make real-time business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage adoption of new tools.
- Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and planning for weekly bakery volumes.
- Ensure consistency in quality, food safety, and company policies to support production and member service.
- Maintain accurate inventory, audit, and compliance standards, and produce/display merchandise according to the layout plan.
- Identify training needs, develop team skills, and encourage career growth for team members.
- Source new talent internally and externally to strengthen the team.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers.
- Analyze information from multiple sources, monitor progress, and address improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity.

Requirements
- 6 months of experience in a bakery production department or 6 months of experience supervising a team.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources or supervising associates.
- ServSafe Certification in Food Services.
Pay
- Hourly wage range: $24.00 to $32.00.
- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
