Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs.
• Assists customers with product selection and handling, including loading/unloading items.
• Reviews and prepares orders for the day, ensuring freshness and accuracy.
• Ensures the department is stocked with adequate supplies and maintains cleanliness.
• Operates cash registers and handles transactions.
• Maintains a professional and hygienic work environment.
• Reports to work on time and follows departmental guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to add and subtract basic figures, copy figures, count, and record data.
• Must be able to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Must possess visual abilities to read and write, as well as perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to work in a store environment with exposure to flour dust, noise, cleaning chemicals, electrical shocks, and temperature extremes.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or equivalent experience.
• Less than six months of relevant work experience.
