Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs.
• Assists customers with product retrieval, loading/unloading, and making note of and passing along customer suggestions or requests.
• Reviews orders for the day and prepares/replenishes products as necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
• Reports to work on time and performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to do simple addition and subtraction.
• Possess the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
• Must be able to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to perform visual tasks including clarity of vision, color vision, depth perception, and field of vision.

Qualifications

Less than high school or equivalent experience and six months of less of similar or related work experience are acceptable qualifications for this position.
