Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by greeting customers, learning their names, and addressing them by name.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items, loading/unloading heavy items, and making note of and passing along customer suggestions or requests.
• Reviews the status and appearance of food for freshness, reviews daily orders, and prepares, finishes, and replenishes products as necessary.
• Ensures an adequate food supply is ready and on hand, and maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
• Reports to work when scheduled and on time, and performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Requirements

• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions; deal with a few concrete variables.
• Possess the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies orally or in writing.
• Must be able to perform medium work, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Qualifications

• Less than high school or equivalent experience and six months of less of similar or related work experience.

Skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $12.00 - $14.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation is determined by the hiring manager and will be discussed during the interview process.
