Bakery Clerk

The Bakery Clerk position is hourly and may be part‑time or full‑time, with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests, including phone and cake orders.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues.
• Maintain freshness by inspecting and rotating items while keeping food‑safety logs.
• Package and price items appropriately from the service case or prepared products.
• Replenish bakery products on display and keep proper inventory levels for packaging and other items.
• Contribute to overall cleanliness by picking up, organizing, and cleaning work areas, shelving, and the sales floor as needed.
• Assist guests in locating their favorite products.
• Honor commitments with the team, be present for scheduled shifts, or arrange coverage when needed.
• Take actions that create exceptional guest experiences and encourage repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast food, food service, restaurants, retail, or customer service is helpful but not required.
• Strong desire to engage with people, smile often, and enjoy helping guests.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to learn on the job.

The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the individual’s availability.
