About the role

Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Bakery Clerk - #7 Huntington Park (ages 16-17)! Located at 7000 S. Alameda St., Huntington Park, California, 90255.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases.
• Clean shelves and display cases.
• Fills and rotates self-serve displays.
• Takes special orders from customers.
• Works with the Baker to determine baking or decorating needs.
• Helps in the department cleaning by hosing down floors with soap and water.

Requirements

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

Qualifications

Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required.
