Bakery Clerk - #55 Camelback

About the role

The Bakery Clerk position at El Super #55 Camelback offers a unique opportunity to join a community-focused team dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and fresh, high-quality food.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers in the bakery department.
• Aid customers with bakery purchases and clean shelving and display cases.
• Fills and rotates self-serve displays both in-store and adjacent to the bakery.
• Work with customers to place special orders and assist the Baker with baking or decorating tasks.
• Contribute to department cleanliness by hosing down floors with soap and water.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
