About the role

Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Bakery Clerk - #45 in Oceanside (ages 16-17).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service
• Love your Community
• Love Food
• Assist customers with bakery purchases
• Clean shelving and display cases
• Fills and rotates self serve displays
• Work with customers on special orders
• Work with the Baker to determine baking or decorating needs
• Help in the department cleaning by hosing down floors

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Benefits

Pay

$17.75 per hour

Schedule

Typical for a fast-paced grocery store, with physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
