Bakery Clerk - #44 Lynwood (ages 16-17)

About the role

The Bakery Clerk at El Super #44 operates within the bakery department, providing customer service and performing various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers in the bakery department.
• Aid customers with bakery purchases.
• Clean shelving and display cases.
• Fills and rotates self-service displays.
• Work with customers on special orders.
• Collaborate with the Baker to determine baking or decorating needs.
• Contribute to department cleaning by hosing down floors with soap and water.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
