About the role

Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Bakery Clerk - #25 National City (ages 16-17)! Located at 3007 Highland Ave., National City, California, 91950 United States.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases.
• Clean shelving and display cases.
• Fills and rotates self serve displays in the front of the store and adjacent to the store bakery.
• Work with customers to take special orders.
• Work with the Baker to determine which items may need to be baked or decorated.
• Help in the department cleaning by hosing down the floors with soap and water to ensure the department cleanliness.

Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to read and understand product labels and instructions.
• Effective communication skills.

$17.75 per hour.
