About the role

The Bakery Clerk position at El Super offers a unique opportunity to join a team dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and community support. Located at 7502 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, Arizona, this role involves assisting customers with their bakery purchases, maintaining display cases, and helping with special orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers in the bakery department.
• Clean and rotate self-service displays both inside and outside the bakery.
• Assist customers with special orders and work with bakers to prepare items as needed.
• Participate in departmental cleaning duties, including hosing down floors with soap and water.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling as required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar customer service role preferred.
