Bakery Clerk - 082 Cypress (ages 16-17)
About the role
The Bakery Clerk position at Fiesta Mart Store 082 Cypress (ages 16-17) requires candidates to provide excellent customer service, interact with the general public and co-workers, read and write Spanish/English, and perform various tasks within the bakery.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to the Bakery department.
- Aid customers with bakery purchases.
- Clean shelving and display cases.
- Fills and rotates self serve displays.
- Work with customers to take special orders.
- Work with the Baker to determine baking or decorating needs.
- Help in the department cleaning by hosing down floors with soap and water.
Requirements
- Basic PC/Outlook skills.
- Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
Qualifications
Must be able to read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co-workers, read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Must apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Must have basic PC/Outlook skills and a Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
