Bakery Cake Designer
Responsibilities
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Escorts customers to products they're looking for
- Sets up timelines and production schedules
- Decorates bakery items in a timely manner
- Ensures department standards are met
- Checks orders for details and supplies
- Delivers and sets up wedding cakes
- Communicates with bakery manager
- Tracks daily retail production
- Performs other job-related duties
Requirements
- High school or equivalent education
- Less than six months of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- File, post, and mail materials
- Interview to obtain basic information
- Guide people and provide basic direction
- Physical abilities: Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly
- Visual requirements: Vision from less than 20 inches and more than 20 feet, color vision, depth perception, and field of vision
- Physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
