Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
• Achieve and exceed sales and profit goals for the department.
• Maintain quality assurance standards.
• Embrace Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to provide excellent customer service.
• Display a positive attitude and understand the store's layout.
• Stay current with store promotions and inventory conditions.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping and customer or employee accidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and illegal activity.

Requirements

• Minimum ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Current food handlers permit.
• Bakery experience preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Desired second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
