Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
- Achieve and exceed sales and profit goals for the department.
- Maintain quality assurance standards.
- Embrace Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to provide excellent customer service.
- Display a positive attitude and understand the store's layout.
- Stay current with store promotions and inventory conditions.
- Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping and customer or employee accidents.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions and illegal activity.
Requirements
- Minimum ability to handle stressful situations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Current food handlers permit.
- Bakery experience preferred.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Desired second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
