About the role

Join our Food Services Team at Aramark and bring your baking passion to life! You’ll have the opportunity to explore diverse flavors and techniques while working with premium equipment and following delicious recipes. We prioritize your health and safety with clear production and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Bake and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and other prep tasks.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, and mixers safely and efficiently.
• Use a variety of utensils, including knives, with proper safety protocols.
• Store food in compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, clients, and coworkers.
• Adhere to Aramark’s safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure the security of company assets.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a baker or in a related role is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations (e.g., proper food handling, sanitation, and storage).
• Must obtain required food safety certification(s).
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Physical Demands

• May involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended periods of walking and standing.
• May require wearing uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
