About the role
At Einstein Bros. Bagels, we believe in the bagel, and we’ve been baking bagels fresh daily since 1995. Our bakeries do more than just make the best breakfast in the neighborhood—they spread joy and happiness. As a Baker, you’ll be the first in our hearts and the first in our bakeries, arriving early to ensure our signature bagels are ready for the day.
The Baker ensures quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. You’ll work as part of a team to provide excellent guest service, including order taking and sandwich making, while maintaining a safe and clean store environment.
Responsibilities
- Arrive early (as early as 3 AM) to prepare and bake bagels and other products
- Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure product availability
- Assist with order taking, sandwich making, and other guest service tasks
- Maintain high standards for food and beverage quality
- Keep the store environment clean and safe
- Work varied hours/days, including early mornings and weekends, as business dictates
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work early hours (as early as 3 AM) and weekends
- Must pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
- Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations)
The physical demands for this position include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
