Responsibilities

  • Production: Mixing dough, hand-twisting pretzels, dipping, salting, and baking to company standards.
  • Cleaning & Safety: Maintaining a clean workstation, sanitizing equipment, and following food safety regulations.
  • Inventory: Monitoring inventory, restocking dips and drinks, and ensuring product freshness.
  • Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, and operating the [point-of-sale (POS) system].
  • Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability: Must be able to work early mornings (sometimes 4 am), weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Age: Most locations require employees to be 18 or older. Stores may hire 16-17-year-olds for specific crew member roles, depending on local labor laws.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods while performing repetitive manual tasks like hand-twisting dough.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work early morning shifts (sometimes as early as 4 AM), weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Soft Skills: A positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced team environment.
  • Prior Experience: Background in food service, baking, or fast food is a major plus.
  • Food Safety: Basic knowledge of sanitation protocols and food handling guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Experience handling cash, using a POS system, and comfortably interacting with customers.
  • Basic Math: Proficiency in measuring ingredients accurately and performing retail math for transactions.

Compensation

$15 - $18/hour
