About the role
The ideal candidate will be friendly, devoted, curious, and passionate about food with a particular interest in baking and pastry. We seek individuals who will become integral team members, valuing hard work and bringing detail and care to every part of their workday.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by kitchen management
- Set up station according to established expectations
- Execute production from start to finish, including all in-house baked items and pastry production
- Work collaboratively with back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) staff
- Maintain cleanliness of all BOH work areas, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
- Participate in deep cleaning of BOH work areas
- Follow set schedule and provide appropriate notification for tardiness and absence
- Conform to Department of Health requirements to run an A-level kitchen
Requirements
- General knife handling, food safety, and sanitation knowledge
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- High-volume restaurant or bakery experience preferred
- Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly, and constantly improve
- Able to follow recipes without direct supervision
- Strong time management skills and ability to execute dishes consistently and effectively
- Full availability, including weekends

$22.66 - $23.69/hour
