Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to prevent over or under baking.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and notifying management of supply needs.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance product offerings.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred.
Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Food Handler’s Permit or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
