Baker

About the role

We are looking to add an energetic, motivated baker/cook to our education team at Wilson Workforce & Rehab Center in Fisherville, VA. As a baker/cook, you will have the opportunity to prepare a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods daily. Elior Collegiate Dining is rewriting the rules of campus dining, serving up bold flavors, fresh ideas, and high-impact experiences that fuel student life. We partner with forward-thinking colleges and universities to create vibrant, customized dining programs that spark connection, celebrate culture, and make food a defining part of the college journey.

Responsibilities

• Following recipes to create quality baked goods.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the kitchen.
• Ordering ingredients and taking inventory regularly.
• Responsible for all baking as well as cook training & assisting with Snack Bar Cafe operation

Requirements

• Ability to follow recipes and proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Experience using a variety of kitchen tools to produce various baked goods.
• Basic math skills for inventory management, including ordering.

Qualifications

• Experience baking in a retail environment.
• Large volume cooking experience.
• Leadership experience including training kitchen staff.
