BAKER

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality baked goods according to established recipes and production standards
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and production standards in a commercial kitchen environment
• Help maintain and expand the Co-op’s bakery offerings through consistent execution and collaboration
• Work collaboratively with team members across food service operations
• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and coworkers
• Contribute to a positive, cooperative, and efficient kitchen culture

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience preferred
• Experience or interest in baking or pastry
• Experience cooking in restaurant, food service, catering, deli, or kitchen operation
• Familiarity with natural foods and dietary preferences

Qualifications

• Previous commercial baking or pastry experience required
• Familiarity with natural foods and diverse dietary preferences is a plus
• Friendly, helpful, and professional attitude
• Excellent communication and listening skills
