Baker and Packager Associate

About the role

The Bakery/Packager associate prepares fresh baked items daily for Sam's Club members, following recipes and organizing merchandise to ensure freshness and member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs.
• Follow recipes and make-up instructions.
• Wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team.
• Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
• Ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items.
• Eliminate waste and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Model high-quality service and products.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Complete work assignments and prioritize tasks.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to operate baking equipment.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid based on specific circumstances.
