About the role
Prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure freshness.
Help members with their bakery orders in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate effectively, and adapt to team needs.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates.
- Ensure commitment to operational excellence by maintaining work area, adhering to quality and date control standards, and eliminating waste.
- Model high-quality service and products, advocating for the department and the club, and executing the basics at the highest level of quality.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and participate in training and assessments.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, and adapting to changes and feedback.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Positive attitude, ability to stand for long periods, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work in other areas as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
Skills
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with digital tools and hand-held technology.
