Baker and Packager Associate

About the role

The Bakery/Packager Associate prepares fresh baked items daily for Sam's Club members, following recipes and organizing merchandise to ensure freshness and member satisfaction. Tasks include sweeping up spills, assisting members, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs
• Wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service
• Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining work area, adhering to quality and date control standards, and eliminating waste
• Model high-quality service and products, and assist members with purchasing decisions
• Comply with company policies and procedures, and adapt to change and feedback

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
