About the role

Prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure the freshest items available.

Responsibilities

  • Help members with their bakery orders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club, answering any questions they may have.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
  • Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Ensure commitment to operational excellence by maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures.
  • Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Model high-quality service and products, execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting members quickly and accurately.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle obstacles head-on to ensure each task is completed with excellence.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with digital tools and hand-held technology.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Schedule

Hours vary based on the specific store location and department needs.
