About the role

Prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure freshness.

Help members with their bakery orders in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a member-ready environment.
• Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
• Provides exceptional customer service by greeting, thanking, and addressing member inquiries.
• Leverages digital tools to enhance sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates.
• Adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Ensures operational excellence by maintaining work area standards, managing quality and date control, and eliminating waste.
• Models high-quality service and products, advocating for the department and the club.
• Completes work assignments and prioritizes tasks based on company policies, data, and resources.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle obstacles and ensure task excellence.
• Flexibility to assist in other areas of the business as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with digital tools.
