Baker and Packager Associate

About the role

Prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure freshness.

Help members with their bakery orders in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area by sanitizing equipment and ensuring compliance with food safety standards and inventory management.
• Provides exceptional customer service by greeting members, answering questions, and addressing their needs.
• Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates, making immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Ensures operational excellence by maintaining work areas according to company policies, adhering to quality and date control standards, and eliminating waste.
• Models high-quality service and products by advocating for the department and the club, valuing member experiences, and executing the basics at the highest level of quality.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by implementing policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, and adapting to change and feedback.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Positive attitude, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Standing for long periods and standing quickly when needed.
• Experience in a similar role or relevant experience in a fast-paced environment.
