Baker and Packager Associate

About the role

The Bakery/Packager Associate prepares fresh baked items daily for Sam's Club members, following recipes and packaging merchandise to ensure freshness and member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs
• Follow recipes and make-up instructions
• Wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
• Execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality
• Eliminate waste and assist members with purchasing decisions

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role preferred
