Responsibilities

  • Batch mixing, baking, extruding, filling, depositing and cutting operations
  • Set up and operate equipment such as mixers, depositors, ovens, extruders, robotic cutters, etc.
  • Read recipes to ensure proper production of various products like pastries, buttercreams, cookies, cheesecakes, etc.
  • Execute baking, filling, cutting, decorating procedures on a variety of products
  • Complete daily production reports
  • Comply with food safety protocols and support FSSC 22000 Certification
  • Comply with safety program and safe operation of equipment
  • Follow Bakery Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • High school education or equivalent, or two years of relevant experience (training provided)
  • Ability to follow and execute recipes, including math skills for scaling up or down
  • Strong experience/knowledge of operating a wide range of machines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
