Responsibilities
- Batch mixing, baking, extruding, filling, depositing and cutting operations
- Set up and operate equipment such as mixers, depositors, ovens, extruders, robotic cutters, etc.
- Read recipes to ensure proper production of various products like pastries, buttercreams, cookies, cheesecakes, etc.
- Execute baking, filling, cutting, decorating procedures on a variety of products
- Complete daily production reports
- Comply with food safety protocols and support FSSC 22000 Certification
- Comply with safety program and safe operation of equipment
- Follow Bakery Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- High school education or equivalent, or two years of relevant experience (training provided)
- Ability to follow and execute recipes, including math skills for scaling up or down
- Strong experience/knowledge of operating a wide range of machines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
