About the role

Under minimal direction, is responsible for aligning bags to ensure they enter the EDS machines.

Responsibilities

• Aligns luggage to ensure it enters the EDS machine without jamming.
• Moves baggage from default pier and make-up units to carts and delivers to appropriate location.
• Operates Manual Encode Station using a handheld barcode reader.
• Aids in clearing bag jams throughout the system.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Complies with all ELS safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties/assignments as required by management.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Previous work experience in an Airport environment.
• Previous mechanical/electrical experience preferred.

• Works under the Airport Terminal.
