Badging Specialist - Abilene, TX

About the role

Convergint is seeking a full-time Badging Specialist who embodies enthusiasm, results-driven mindset, and forward-thinking qualities. This role is part of a dynamic team committed to growth and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security and dispatch appropriate personnel for emergencies and non-emergencies.
• Manage CCTV to monitor all areas of the property, including inside and outside.
• Grant access to certain levels within the building and outside based on badge activities.
• Maintain the emergency information communications system for the facility.

Requirements

• Must be a results-driven individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass any State and Federal licensing requirements.
• Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare.
• Microsoft Office experience is desired.
• Ability to identify and respond to security risks promptly.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare industries is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Passes any State and Federal licensing requirements.
• Experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare industries.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Timely identification and response to security risks.
