Bad Faith Litigation Attorneys
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, is seeking Civil Litigation Attorneys to join its Philadelphia office, focusing on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.
About the role
The position involves engagement in complex litigation in both state and federal court, with a focus on first-party property claims, UM/UIM claims, Pennsylvania bad faith law, coverage disputes, and insurance agents/brokers. Ideal candidates will have opportunities for professional development, forward-facing client interactions, and experience handling appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials.
Responsibilities
- Handle litigation involving insurance coverage and bad faith matters
- Represent clients in state and federal court
- Appear in-person for court hearings and proceedings
- Draft legal documents, motions, and briefs
- Conduct depositions and participate in trials
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience
- Experience with first-party property claims, UM/UIM claims, Pennsylvania bad faith law, coverage disputes, and insurance agents/brokers
- Licensed and admitted to practice in Pennsylvania (admission to New Jersey is a plus)
- Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Availability for in-person court appearances and hearings
