Backup Driver

About the role

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Backup Driver to support our field operations team. In this backup/on-call position, you will drive a customized company van while our Drive Test Engineers conduct tests on local area radio frequency (RF) signals. The role is intended to provide driving support as needed when primary drivers are unavailable, offering flexible, part-time work while contributing to cutting-edge wireless network testing and optimization projects.

Responsibilities

• Transport engineers or team members to and from destinations.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs if assigned.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Interact with team members professionally at all times.
• Ensure the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date if asked.

Requirements

• Current driver’s license.
• Able to clear background and drug screen.
• Dependable and timely.
• Able to read maps or follow GPS.
