About the role

The City of Fairburn is seeking an experienced, skilled professional to perform technical work related to backflow prevention. Key responsibilities include inspecting the installation of backflow assemblies, performing cross connection control testing, conducting water use surveys, performing water constituent testing, and dye testing operations.

Requirements

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of relevant experience in backflow prevention, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Georgia driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

Strong communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
