Backend Software Engineer - Security Services (Staff Level)

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security REST API platforms (PKI services, authentication services, signing services, preferably in Java, etc.)
• Write and maintain customized crypto libraries for all services across the company.
• Produce well-designed, factored, and tested code.
• Enhance Infrastructure stability & performance.
• Continuously evolve architecture as the system scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience as a software engineer, developer, or equivalent technical expertise.
• Good understanding of data structure and algorithms.
• Strong Java language skills and good coding style.
• Familiar with MVC, frameworks like Spring or Play.
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with at least one of SQL and no-SQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Apache Ignite, Cassandra).
• Comfortable working within a distributed team located in multiple time zones.

Preferences

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
• Working knowledge of public key infrastructure (PKI) in medium to large environments to include key management, digital certificates, and digital signatures.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, processes, and methods.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
