Backend Software Engineer II (AI Specialization)

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents that enhance user interaction
• Connect agents to MCP servers for data orchestration
• Create AI solutions for store management actions
• Integrate AI features into the company control panel
• Collaborate with designers and NLP experts for user experience
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions for user validation
• Improve internal tools for LLM fine-tuning and prompt execution

Qualifications

• 3+ years in backend or full-stack development with AI focus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong programming skills in Go
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and AI applications
• Understanding of prompt engineering concepts
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data integration
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills

Pay

$95,000 – $160,000 annually
