About the role

Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Backend (Python) Senior Engineer to join our team for an exciting Full Time Opportunity with one of our esteemed clients, based in Dallas, TX // Plano, TX // Fort Worth, TX for an Onsite Role.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade web applications using Python (3.4+), Django (2.1+) or Flask
  • Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Develop scalable system architecture, design patterns, and cloud-native applications
  • Work with MySQL, MongoDB, OLAP/OLTP, multithreading, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Cloud Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, and UI/UX teams to build end-to-end Data-to-Decision platforms
  • Integrate AI/ML outputs through REST APIs
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools for code generation, testing, and documentation
  • Make architectural decisions, troubleshoot issues, and provide project leadership

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in backend development
  • Strong expertise in Python (3.4+), Django (2.1+) or Flask
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and scalable system architecture
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, OLAP/OLTP, multithreading, and performance optimization
  • Proficiency with GitHub for version control
  • Experience working in large, fast-paced engineering teams
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong architectural decision-making and troubleshooting abilities
  • Project leadership capabilities
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Scrum Masters, Cloud Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, and UI/UX teams

Preferred qualifications

  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience with messaging brokers such as RabbitMQ
  • Nginx/Apache
  • ReactJS
  • RPA tools (Blue Prism, UiPath, WorkFusion)
  • High-traffic infrastructure deployment
