Backend Engineer, New Grad

About the role

Join our backend software engineering team at AppLovin, a leading provider of end-to-end advertising solutions. We're looking for talented individuals to design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical challenges, including upgrading and implementing state-of-the-art software infrastructure.
• Build high-performance, high availability, globally distributed ecosystem platforms of services.
• Create and maintain systems that handle billions of requests per day.
• Contribute to and influence the roadmap of our products and technologies.
• Collaborate with various engineering teams to meet a wide range of technological challenges.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure the success of our products and technologies.

Requirements

• 0-2+ years of experience and a minimum of a BS and/or MS in Computer Science.
• Excellent knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and coding.
• Experience independently creating and maintaining projects.
• Professional experience with C++ and/or Java is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in C++ and/or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud-based technologies.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
