About the Team

As a central platform team within the Systems Department, The Infrastructure Delivery Platform Team is responsible for providing reliable, convenient, and unified resource and infrastructure service capabilities. Our scope includes end-to-end capacity delivery, asset management, data center infrastructure management, server fleet management, and other critical services that empower the department's operational efficiency and scalability. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building ByteDance's global infrastructure digital platform, and undertaking backend development for business operation systems in procurement, delivery, planning, asset management, IDC (Internet Data Center) operation and maintenance, cost management, etc.
  • Execute full cycle development, including requirement analysis, solution design, technical feasibility studies, code implementation, and unit testing.
  • Timely respond to and resolve critical live issues or production emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Passionate about programming with solid coding capabilities and a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
  • Proficient in one or multiple programming languages, e.g. Java, Go, C/C++, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in the use and optimization of MySQL and Redis, with solid knowledge of Linux systems, TCP/UDP, HTTP protocols, etc.
  • Candidates who take the initiative to understand the source code implementations of mainstream frameworks will be preferred.
  • Exceptional learning agility, strong sense of responsibility, and proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $128,000 - $256,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
